F1 2014 Schedule. As soon as it was announced, the F1 2014 Schedule sparked off excited chatter on the internet. Some termed it grueling, for there are an unprecedented 22 races proposed for. Some termed it taxing, as there will be races on three consecutive weekends for the first time in formula history.
Some others termed it as exciting, as Ferrari will have two world champions, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen, in their ranks to challenge Red Bull’s recent supremacy. The Formula One’s governing body, FIA, has termed the schedule provisional.
That means there will be minor changes; but still, the 2014 season in all likelihoods will be the biggest in F1 history.

If the schedule is accepted without any changes, there will be four new races in the 2014 season: New Jersey, Mexico, Austria and Russia. From the 19-race 2013 calendar, the Indian Grand Prix would be discontinued.
Of the new circuits, Austria is likely to become a permanent fixture in the F1 calendar.
It will be the home race for Red Bull. Some even call it the ‘Rebonza’, in a parody of Ferrari’s home circuit Monza.
The New Jersey race too is likely to generate worldwide excitement.
It is designed as a street race. Who would not love to watch a race through New York’s streets, with the city’s skyline forming a majestic backdrop?
If the F1 2014 Schedule is accepted as it is, it will force the teams to restructure their strategies and even remodel their vehicles.
There will be a punishing schedule and a host of logistics headaches.
For the Formula One fans, though, the next year is going to be more exciting for more reasons than one.
